I'm not a Pilot

Indie rock band I'm Not A Pilot is based in Milwaukee, WI and is comprised of Mark Glatzel on vocals and keys, Peter Thomas on cello, Steve Vorass on drums, and Adrian Esguerra on bass and backing vocals.

Winner of the Shepherd Express Best of Milwaukee awards for Best Rock Band in 2010 and 2011, I'm Not A Pilot has been entertaining audiophiles of all ages since they released their self-titled debut EP in 2009. Known to many as Milwaukee's "guitar-less" indie rock band, I'm Not A Pilot has performed in venues all over Milwaukee and at many summer music festivals including Bastille Days, Summer Soulstice, and Summerfest as a headliner. INAP released their first full length album Need Money For Rocket Fuel in November 2010, and it is available on iTunes, Pandora, RDIO, Spotify, Amazon, and CD Baby. INAP can be heard on 88.9 Radio Milwaukee, 91.7 WMSE, 89.7 WUWM, and can be followed on Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.

I'm Not A Pilot’s success as one of Milwaukee’s major bands results from their unique instrumentation. The music can best be described as a cross between Chamber Pop and Rock N' Roll mixed with symphonic sounds and structure. All songs are written and constructed around front man Mark Glatzel's vocal melodies and intricate piano work. Peter Thomas, also a cellist in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, adds bursts of energy through his guitar simulated electric cello playing. Adrian Esguerra anchors the harmonic framework on bass guitar with cleverly picked rhythms, and textures. On drums the sound is elevated by Steve Vorass whose talent adds the dynamic quality in the band's music. According Bobby Tanzillo of OnMilwaukee.com I'm Not A Pilot "conjures both Queen and Keane, thanks to an almost baroque arrangement that recalls Freddie Mercury and Tom Chaplin."

I'm Not a Pilot will be performing upcoming shows at Milwaukee’s historic Turner Hall Ballroom, SXSW Festival in Austin, TX and the Wisconsin Area Music Industry awards "I'm Not A Pilot is four musicians coalescing to reach a state of gestalt by exploring new sonic territories," writes Charles Nevsimal of INFO* Magazine, "and in doing so, they're charting a course to the stars."

JT Thomas

Todd "JT" Thomas

Hailing from south of Chicago, this comedian has been seen on such nationally syndicated programs as: Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes, The Bob & Tom Radio Show, and shot pilots for both the B.E.T and NBC networks. All this while being a relatively new face in the comedy business. Get ready for one of the freshest and most fierce comedians working the country today, Todd “JT” Thomas!

A graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, U.S. Army veteran, Actor, Writer, Frat boy, Comedian, single Dad, and Pro wrestler - yes pro wrestler - JT headlocks the crowd with his eclectic styles the spans any age, racial, or gender barriers. Once he grabs your funny bone you'll be gasping for air. His ability to relate to any and everyone has left many an audience surprised as much as they were entertained.

JT’s colorful background and life experiences have endeared him to audiences across the U.S., as well as garnering him the nickname amongst his comedy peers as “the most interesting comic in the world.” There is no way to put him in a box. Just when you think you got him pegged he’ll switch lanes and go in reverse. “You can’t tell by looking at me but I’m mixed. I have a black father and a white…voice.” says Thomas of his not so typical voice. Not afraid to poke fun at himself as well as others all while reminding us to have fun. “I like to joke around. Sometimes I go to Wal-Mart late at night, paint my face yellow, and the slash all the prices.”

Some comics pride themselves on being a “comics, comic.” JT prides himself on being a “peoples comic.” Giving the crowd his all and reaching every single person is JT’s specialty. Much like the weather of his home town, his delivery and material change every five minutes. So if you can’t relate to one topic wait a second and he’ll have you rolling in the aisle. Bring this man to your club, college, cooperate event, and become one of his “J-peeps.” You won’t be disappointed.

"Any school looking for a clean, funny act I would recommend Todd, definitely."

Teri Jendusa Nicolai

Teri Jendusa Nicolai

Teri Jendusa Nicolai has survived the unthinkable. Her ex-husband tried to murder her back in January, 2004 by hitting her in the head with a baseball bat, stuffing her bloody body in a garbage can, and driving her across state lines and placing her in a storage locker for 26 hours until she was found barely alive, but she was and is here today to speak out and about Domestic Violence awareness. Teri has been on 20/20, the Bio Channel’s television show-I Survived, CNN web, newspapers across the country and in Europe, radio, showcased for NACA in front of college students down to speaking at middle and high schools. She came from a loving family; Teri graduated College and was remarried. She knew better than to have someone treat her this way. How does this happen? Teri will talk about her experiences and what is going on across this country with Domestic Violence.

-"Hi Teri: Thank you so much for the great job you did tonight. Lots of questions were asked, and I was very surprised to see all those people coming up to give you a hug. I certainly enjoyed listening to you very much." –Women’s Center (WI)

"Teri's lecture went really well last night. She is just so great to work with!" - St. Norbert College 2011

Our participants especially appreciated learning about the warning signs of unhealthy relationships and how they can help friends and family who are in unhealthy relationships. We intend to have Teri back to campus again in the future!" - Central College 3/2011

Chasin' Mason

Chasin' Mason

Rooted in country and laced with rock 'n roll, Chasin' Mason makes music as rugged and raw as the rough roads and wrong turns that have taken them through five years of trial and triumph. Their miles are marked with guitars as loud as the lives they've lived and lyrics as true as their Sunday morning upbringings.

Since their formation in 2003, the Wisconsin based group has wasted little time establishing themselves as one of the hottest up and coming bands in country music. Having sold 15,000 independently released cds to their constantly growing grass roots fan base; it’s evident that the band's 200 plus shows a year are bearing fruit.

A melting pot of musical influences, Chasin' Mason mixes Merle and Mellencamp with U2 and Keith Urban to create their Rockin’ edge with a story to tell. The guys borrow their style and passion from their diverse pasts. Pulling from musical families, hard childhoods, wrong crowds, and right girls....Chasin' Mason plays Real Life Real Loud!!!
